Challenge:

Brand environment specialists GLS Design approached Gravit8 to collaborate on an exhibition stand design project for enterprise tech pioneers R3 at London’s ExCeL centre.

R3’s brief was for a booth design which would pull visitors to the stand and help R3 to enhance customer engagement at Sibos, the world’s premier financial services event.

Solution:

With R3’s exhibition stand located in prime position and the company’s desire to be positioned as a forward-thinking, tech-orientated brand, the perfect opportunity presented itself. Step forward, Gravit8’s PixelBrix iPad wall. Comprising 140 tablets, two curved iPad walls were created on each outward facing corner of the stand. Each tablet was perfectly synced and pixel-mapped to show R3’s video content. Gravit8 created the software, supplied the AV tech and installed the project on site.

Result:

The general consensus was an overriding thumbs up. Visitor feedback was that R3’s stand was one of the most visually appealing highlights of the event. Not only that, but R3 reported increased footfall over previous years – with many delegates specifically making a beeline to the stand to ask about the PixelBrix wall. The concept was so well received by R3 and GLS Design that plans are afoot to use the same design for their exhibition space at Fintech in Singapore.
